Took it to a hot yoga class and the cooling effect kicked in almost instantly when I snapped it and gave it a shake. It stayed damp and cold for the whole hour, which is more than I can say for my usual cotton towel.

The grey shade hides gym floor dust surprisingly well, and it stays noticeably cool through a full hour of outdoor cycling in 85-degree heat without needing a re-soak. Folds up thin enough to slip into my running vest pocket, which is exactly what I needed for post-workout commutes.
