The fabric is surprisingly light, so it folds down to almost nothing in my daypack, yet it's still large enough for me to fully stretch out on the sand. Dries in a flash when I clip it to my backpack on the way home, which is exactly what I needed for hopping between beaches.

Took this on a weekend trip and was surprised how much beach I got out of something this light. The fabric dried fast after a swim and still felt soft against my skin, not that scratchy gym-towel texture. Big enough to actually stretch out on the sand without dragging half the shore with me.
