The hole design actually solved my biggest picnic annoyance — no more wrestling with a flapping corner in the wind. Spread it out on the grass Saturday and there was plenty of room for three of us plus the cooler.

Took this to a festival last weekend and the size was perfect for our group of four plus a cooler. The hole for the umbrella pole kept everything anchored even when the wind picked up, which saved us from chasing it across the field.

The hole in the middle is genius—we used it to hold a bottle of wine and it stayed perfectly upright in the grass all afternoon. The whole thing wiped clean with a quick shake and it’s still got plenty of room for four of us sprawled out.
